Mind Mapping
A mind map is a graphical technique for visualising connections between several ideas or pieces of information, these ideas will then be elaborated on further as the design process continues.
One idea which came up more prominently in discussion was the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are described in the last book of the new testament of the Bible, the book of Revelation of Jesus Christ to John the Apostle (6:1-8) The chapter tells of a book or scroll in Gods right hand that is sealed with seven seals. The Lamb of God opens the first four seals, summoning four beings which ride out on white, red, black and pale horses. Though theologians and popular culture differ on the first horsemen, the four riders are often seen as symbolising war, conquest, famine and death. The christian apocalyptic vision is that the horsemen are to set s divine apocalypse upon the world as the harbingers of the last judgement. Introducing this into the plot could add depth towards the rebels along with reinforcing the idea that a digital apocalypse is taking place.
Idea Summary
As illustrated by Abraham Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, humans depend on a sense of purpose, motivation purpose, motivation and acceptance in order to live life to the fullest. In the absence of the creativity, enthusiasm and self fulfilment which followed the united front of the gaming community, the world descends into a bleak, broken and scorched society. In a futile attempt to painstakingly cling to small crumbs of normality, the Childhood Restoration and intense sanctions have been put in place. A group of masked political anarchists known as the authoritarian media outlets to enhance tensions and instigate the youth to riot in order to conquer their own future.
