Lighthouse

During the final stages of production, it was evident that the sides of the island seemed somewhat bare and needed some additional features, therefore I was tasked with making a lighthouse. This would then sit next to the island and provide aesthetic appeal, the model was briefly created in Maya, UV mapped and then sent to Mudbox to enable more detailed texturing.

In Mudbox a diffuse map was used to imprint the wall style definition – the diffuse map adds color and is like painting an image on the surface of the object. This therefore provided the brick style detail.

This model was then implemented into Unreal
